Red Caliper Paint

does anyone know where to get the red oem matching caliper paint? Two of mine are pealing/flaking and I’d like to touch it up. Thanks

I’m pretty sure any red calipers on W211 AMG’s are aftermarket, I thought they all came silver from the factory.

Are they? I’ll have to look at my VMI when I get home. I’ve seen multiple 2009 E63’s with them so thought it was part of a package.

Red calipers are aftermarket or painted. Period. Factory calipers were only silver.

ok interesting. Thought other models had them as an option too; which would have fit. Anyhow, whichever previous owner did it they did a good job with the AMG branding on them.

now the hassle to find matching paint

Correct, the E55 and E63 (211 chassis) never had red calipers as a factory option - only silver. You can buy the Brembo logos in vinyl from places like ebay.

Thanks for all the input! It’s greatly appreciated. These must be an aftermarket kit as the AMG logos are painted, perfectly I might add; a good stencil I suppose.
