Anyone Before and After Dyno With EC Mids
Well I just got my Mids From EC and I gotta say the quality looks pretty damn good. I'm excited to install them. Has anyone put there car on the dyno doing a before and after Mids? for some reason I cant find anything. If not, don't know if you guys would like if I cant find anything I may just do that myself do a dyno before mids and right after the install. My mods are in my sig but those on a phone app here it is. Not that a few of those mods add any power but listed either way.
2006 E55 80MM Clutched Pulley High Flow Filters Muffler Delete ECU & TCU Tune. 2nd Heat Exchanger Superflow Pump Intake Scoops BWK So after Dyno would just be the Mid Lengths with primary cat delete and Re Tune through Jerry. https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...f485317948.jpg https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...5f37534dd6.jpg https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...ff7a228403.jpg |
Just check out those welds, that person knew what they were doing :y

There is another member who has just EC mids and 83mm and he put down 500rwhp. I would expect about 480 to 500rwhp.
It also depends on IAT, if you can keep them under 95F the whole run you'll get really good results. |

with those mods and the tune ofcourse at 500whp is pretty damn good. I think the only mod I would have over that would be I would do a 82mm TB mod that ill be getting in the near future. I really want to get to about 515-520whp and I think ill be happy with that. I wont do much more mods since I want to drive and enjoy this for a couple of more years and then pick up a 2014+ E63.
I haven't figured out if I want to go with high flow primaries + high flow secondaries or just keep stock secondaries only. How is the 80mm pulley treating you, any belt slip or harsh engagement? |

That's my goal too, about ~600hp crank. I have a set of EC shorties on the C55 over a year and they have held up great. I have a set of EC mids on the way for the E55, the quality in the pics looks great!

Wow those welds are beautiful. Hopefully the inside of them matches. Do you mind taking a photo of the inside of the merge? I would use OEM gaskets to the head.

I would double check but pretty sure EC uses OEM gasket.

Those look like the Kleemann headers. I gained 35 WHP with the kleemann's and another 25 WHP with the 82mm TB

I hit around 478 with those 2 mods and the smaller supercharger pulley, in warm weather with factory exhaust from the headers back. My goal is at least 500 whp now with my 175mm crank pulley. Trying to get back to the dyno soon.

Yes I pulled that picture from pelicanparts. FCP is bound to have them and the copper nuts. They are $2-3 each gaskets and nuts. Of course needing 8 and 16 respectively it adds up.

Hey Monkey, long time. Are you running a combo setup with your 175mm crank pulley ? Or did you remove the smaller upper sc pulley? I just got done finally with my slightly bigger crank pulley as well. Be interesting to hear of your numbers and how we compare... Think you high altitude as well like myself if I recall
