Throttle Body Oring?

In the midst of changing my MAP sensor and procured various new seals and hoses etc while I had the TB out.

The parts diagram shows a square gasket between the throttle body and mounting surface, as well as a green oring 'behind' the TB between it and the Y-pipe.

The issue? My car had neither of these upon removal...

It's obvious where the gasket goes, and I'm surprised it didn't have one from the PO, but I'm scratching my head on the oring and can't find a good picture. Can someone explain where this should go? Does it slide in to the channel in the rubber seal on the y pipe? I don't see any other obvious places for it.

Thanks!

#7 I'm guessing actually IS the rubber seal in the Y pipe and shouldn't be in this drawing because it's a little miss leading. I have never had, nor do I see a reason for an O ring separate from the seal in the Y-Pipe which is ribbed and stays on the Y pipe, and that sucker makes a good seal (And it's not even in vacuum downstream of the Tb so it really doesn't matter that much anyways.)

#5 You can either buy the new gasket or you can also just use your favorite flavor of sensor safe RTV gasket makers. That's what all us folks running 82mm throttle bodies are using in that spot.

OK then I'm not crazy, my supplier must have just sent the wrong part (or maybe the N/A motors use an oring elsewhere). The package is labeled as 'FI throttle body oring' and comes up on a few searches for an 03 E55, but I know how those parts applications sites work at times when there are so many sub-models of E class cars.

I have a new rubber seal for the y-pipe so I should be good to go, the last one did not feel like it was sealing all that well (142k miles and all...).

anyone know what the part number is for the stock size throttle body gasket/seal (i believe its part #5 in pic) ? is it possible to reuse the old one or not worth the risk ? went to dealer today to try to pic one up but it was "grayed" out in their system and not able to get one for some reason -- thanks -- i did not want to disrupt the other ongoing TB discussion hardware vs tune thread -- cheers
