w212 E63 black wheels on W211 E55

I am looking to upgrade the wheels on my Silver E55. Has anyone installed the w212 black E63 wheels on a 211?

If you know the size, bolt pattern and offset for the wheels you can figure it out by doing some searching on here. Might take a bit of work on your behalf.

You are absolutely right and I plan on figuring the measurements out. I was hoping to generate some pictures.

E55
per https://www.wheel-size.com/ they should fit with spacers. Bolt pattern, thread of lugs and the center bore all match. The offsets are slightly different.

Nice. Works well with the facelift front clip, I think it would be a little off without. Rounded corners with sharp wheels, ya know?

Thank you for the pictures, I am liking the look. Did you have any fitment issues? Are they authentic or aftermarket?

They’re authentic E63s wheels. No fitment issues even when I have the airmatic set to its lowest setting on the Renntech controller.

You did not need to use spacers? despite the off set difference? they look really good tbh

I almost find this unbelievable. Not saying you’re lying. But I found a set of 18’s e63 wheels from a 212 and on willtheyfit.com I showed that a 18x9.5et52 wheel will sit 19mm closer to the shock than my 211 e63 wheels. I was thinking about getting a 12mm space for clearance issues. I’m not with my car right now so I can’t Measure the available space I have but 19mm seems awfully close

UPDATE: I mounted 2010/11 E63 wheels on my E55. The fronts fit fine 18x9 ET37 with a 255/40. The rears 18x9.5 et52 285/35 required a spacer. I went with 12mm H&R and 40mm shank lug bolts. No rubbing at any ride height. The car is filty but here’s some photos (doing a paint correction next)

Yeah mine don't have spacers - Not sure which wheels you looked up but the ones I have are from an E63s, and are 19s.
