Green Belt for SC
A while back I got a green belt to go along with my BWK. I don't know if its a big deal or not. But after the first day the green portion came off. I see a few cars were the green belt is still green. Mine has turned grey just after the first day. Is this normal?

My friend has had a green belt for at least 3 years and 25k miles...still looks green. Unless he got a new belt and I didn't know haha. He doesn't have a BWK though

I manage a class 8 truck shop and we use Gates HD (Green) belts on our fan belts for 13L Diesel engines and they often loose the green color after a while. They are still really durable belts though!

What pulleys are using with your BWK and what belt size? Going to add BWK soon because getting lots of slip with 78mm SC Pulley. Have smallest belt possible and still slipping

Not sure on the size of the belt, of the 2 belts I could use I used the shortest. That's actually a mistake when using a BWK. You need a longer belt with the BWK to sit on the pulley more. I still get slip even with the BWK and if I go with the longest of the 2 belts I would still have slip but its not as bad as before. On a BWK I was told not to go as short as possible to use the longer of the 2 belts offered.
