Fuel injectors advice needed

So I was thinking about replacing my stock fuel injectors since I’m approaching 80k miles on my 09 e63 but wanted to know if I should install larger injectors? I saw people putting in 550cc injectors over stock. With my current mods, LTH/catless-Carbonio airboxes- EC tune, would I need larger injectors or stock should be fine? Thanks for the help

If you go larger injectors you will def need to have your AFR tuned again.

I just had my intake manifold rebuilt on my 07 E63, and while I was there I took my injectors out, gave them a good soaking and clean and replaced the upper and lower o-rings.... good thing to because I had two that were just about to fail. I did this about a month ago and it's been running great ever since. My car has 99k on the clock.

I had a feeling I’d need a retune but I wanted to know if it was necessary to get bigger injectors or stock is sufficient. If stock injectors are enough for what mods I have than I’ll just swap them out with new ones.

if you're not planning to run e85, do not go with larger injectors.

FCPEuro has the best pricing on factory injectors at the moment at $161 for a set of 8.

Wow, that’s a great price. Might as well go with these then.

Dang! That's cheaper than having the original injectors cleaned and flow-tested!

that price is ridiculously low; I thought I was good at $240 for a new set last June.

I just bought some for my E63 as part of tune up that I am going to do since I have time - great price from FCP. Planning on doing all the fluids and filters and spark plugs also. Waiting for my 14mm deep socket to come in as the one I have is not quite deep enough.

Does larger injectors need to be coded? Or is a retune all that’s needed?
