High mileage W211 E63 reliability
Hi all. First post here. I'm coming back to Mercedes for my third time. I'm looking at a well maintained 2007 E63 with 154,500 miles as my new daily. It has had the camshafts replaced by MB and the owner reports it might have had the head bolts replaced then as well according to the service tech he spoke to but wasn't 100% sure. I've done my research but I'm really just hoping to make sure it'll last a decent while longer with proper maintenance and a potential head bolt replacement if necessary.
Thanks!
Thanks!

2007 Mercedes E63 AMG
i'm at 150k...i have had nothing catastrophic occur other than central module needing replacement, airmatic struts needing replacement, radiator failure, plastic accessory pulley failure, and a few little things.
i do have to replace my front wheel bearings and all of my suspension bushings...pretty much expected of a vehicle at this milage. engine runs strong, doesn't burn oil unless being sucked in through PCV system when i'm hooning.
if you have the pocket book for it...go for it...nothing european is going to be affordable to maintain. just don't own a BMW or Land Rover/Jaguar and you'll be fine. just make sure you're proactive about things. i've done my head studs and lifters as well as many other things proactively and the car is very reliable.

I've had mine for 2.5 years and spent quite a bit of money. But I love the car and not regretting. I am talking about my experience here https://mbworld.org/forums/w211-amg/...money-pit.html.
Not to spam you, but if you decide to do head bolts hope this video of mine will be helpful https://mbworld.org/forums/w211-amg/...diy-video.html. But I think my bolts were just fine and would be good for a long time https://mbworld.org/forums/w211-amg/...do-not-do.html.
