Need ecm cloning ASAP !
Hello currently dealing with a bad ecm on my 07 e63 AMG . I’ve purchased the matching numbers ecm and I received it yesterday. Is there any shop that you guys can recommend that can clone it? Or if it’s not salvageable then to download the stock tune of my car into the donor ecm ?
thanks so much! I live in WA state but I’m willing to ship them if necessary.
thanks !

well it started by the car misfiring ,then camshaft sensors CEL .. after replacing sensors etc. then no crank no start , no communication with can . Took it to the shop and they found out the ecm had a broken pin due to corrosion because of a short. ..

Alternatively, find a good electronics shop, pull the connector with the broken pin, pull a spare connector from the spare ECU, then install the spare connector into the original ECU. This is something I would trust with our technicians at work rather than attempting to do so myself (unless no other option existed).
Not saying this would be faster than reprogramming but it is an option.

When your done fixing it make sure the plastic lid is water tight. Water in the box is a common cause for this type of falure.
