Drivetrain slack
How much slack is acceptable in the drivetrain? I had my car on the lift few days ago doing rear springs, and noticed I could rotate the wheel back and forth a tad before something engaged on either end.
How much slack/slop is normal, and where actually is the slop, is it in the rear end, or the transmission? Unsure if it is pertinent or not, but I noticed this on the passengers side rear tire, did not check the driver's but assumed they'd be the same.
