Data card code 615

I was going over the data card for my 09 E63. I see code 615 which is the
BI-XENON HEADLICHT W.ACTVIE CURVELIGHT RIGHT-DRIVE
. Two things, first, I thought Bi xenon meant both low and high beam were in the same bulb? I have low beams in the protector and my high beams appear to be in the second circle closer to the grille above the parking lights. Second, I haven’t seen my headlights beam move at all. I’ve seen my fog lights light up for corner illumination when turning but that’s as far as any “active” lighting I’ve seen happen. They don’t move on start up at all either. Am I expecting to much out of the system? I would have thought that they would level on start up, and move with the steering wheel.

Bi-xenon headlights work as follows:
1- The xenon bulb acts both as a low beam, and as a high beam where the projector shutter slides downwards for more illumination.
2- The H7 high beam bulb also lights up when the xenon shutter slides down.
3- Get an advanced scanner and read the codes and conduct tests for the headlights range adjuster module.

Good luck

they won’t move with the wheel going left or right when the car isn’t moving. They don’t move a ton but should be noticeable. Try a long turn road and see if aiming straight ahead or slightly bend with the road.

if they were replaced with non active say after an accident it would have to be coded off to not throw a dash message.
