I do believe there was a rule. You needed an F40 or F50 to be considered, unless you where big with ferrari. There are however a few enzos bieng sold right now though to those who dont have either car.

Ferrari will carefully screen potential buyers of the enzo, however you do not have to of owned a f40 or f50. Not that it will not help your case. I have a buddy who has one and he currently owns a Barchetta and a 360.
