Heading To The Dark Side

So, my beloved E55 will be up for sale soon after I get her detailed, keep an eye out in the classifieds! I'm sure I'll still be poking around in this forum section, it's been fun over the last few years getting things sorted and helping others, getting to know some of you.

I've been in your shoes multiple times- owned an M5, an E63s biturbo, then X3M. But something always brings me back to the Beast... I attribute it to the rawness.
I am sure you will love the E63s.

Yes, it's 4matic only after 2014 which is a huge plus. The Pacific Northwest weather is not kind to high torque RWD cars (I thought I had issues with my old E39 M5 but that was making 200hp less than my E55...).
If I was a fair weather driver, or just used it on weekends, I wouldn't be selling the E55, because in a dry straight line that car is just an absolute beast.
The E63 however...it's 85% as punchy as the E55 but it handles 50x better, the sound system is incredible (B&O option), and the MCT transmission is WAY ahead of the 722.6 box which was also one of my biggest gripes on my old car. Launch control is a riot too!
The brakes are so responsive compared to SBC, and I swear this is one of the best factory sounding exhausts you can find outside of exotic cars. I've been asked several times already if it's a stock exhaust (it is). Adaptive cruise control w/ lane assist steering, dynamic heated and cooled seats, fold down rear seats, the list of little extras that I didn't have before is long enough to keep me busy for a while!
So, if I do find the speed itch, these engines are one simple tune away from a ton more HP which is appealing to me not having to physically change anything to get a decent jump in power.
My E55 is still for sale if anyone is looking! I have it listed at 17k but expect to get closer to 15k, so if you know anyone...
Happy motoring!
