Brembo Two piece Rotors 09.9764.23

Simple question… Thinking about upgrading to these on the E55 ..

I would have thought the rotors were directional as the vanes spiral inward on the right wheel and outward (as it should) on the left wheel?

Can someone confirm this is the case please?

If you look at the specs and the picture, it shows that the discs do not have directional vanes.

I bought similar discs for my Mini Cooper S R53 (albeit single piece) and they also didnt have directional vanes. I believe Brembo calls it PVT > https://www.bremboparts.com/europe/e...me/brake-discs

Same partnumber for left and right, like on the E63 and CLS63.

However for their price point I don't find them to be worth it, unless you really want to reduce unsprung mass.

Thanks guys … yes didnt realise the PVT system … was fooled by the spiral drill holes.

Yes besides the braking benefits the reduction in unsprung mass is what I am after

DBA use something similar with their "kangaroo paw" technology

Also, if you look at the OEM rotors, you will see that the crossed drilled holes and slots are in the same direction left and right. They used the same rotor for either side.
I assume, that this was for cost savings. As it cheaper to just make one rotor for both sides, instead to making a true directional rotor for both sides.
But, since the cooling vanes aren't directional, Mercedes-AMG could get away with it.
