I'm thinking about getting an E55 -- thoughts...
 

Well, I haven't had my C32 for very long now (since April 2004) and I don't know why I want to move on already. I think the 32 is a great car for the money, but I test drove an 03 E55 last week and was blown away with the power of the car (Yes, and I even own a Viper GTS).

Here's the deal, I don't want some stupid monthly payments on the car so either I get this deal or I walk. I'm getting $45k for my 04 C32 (5k miles) and they're asking $70k for the 03 E55 (10k miles, all options but NAV).

Think this is a fair deal? Doesn't seem like $70k is WAY too much, but a little above the median price I've seen. $45k for my car seems very fair, since I just purchased it 7 months ago for $48k.

What do you all think?

Sounds like a great deal IMHO. Plus you get all the maintanance included in the 2003 versus the 2005.

Yipee! I can finally sell you a set of wheels! The ones on your 32 are not right for the 55. Hahaha!!

Seriously, I think the 32 price is VERY good, but on the other hand, I guess your dealership is asking for a higher price on the 55 to offset for the 32 pricing. They might lower the price for the 55 for you for a couple grand, but they might not give you that much for the 32.

Good luck. I dont think you will ever regret the change. The 55 is a superior car than the 55, its a fact.

I'm going to do the deal this afternoon. If everything goes good, I'll have the car this evening. I cannot wait to drive this beast around town, even though it's suppose to rain the next few days. :mad:

Harris, I have to sell my HRE 547's from my C32 and then I'll think about getting new HRE's for the E55. I have a few other things to sell from the 32 here on MBWorld, I just have to take some pics first.
