blue tops is it worth it? I have read both sides of coin but any new updates? thanks

I always saw slight puddle under car, So I had purchased a rear main seal kit at first.
Then after driving around trying to make time to replace the rear main seal. My car went into limp mode and found out it was the transmission
connector which also shorted out the conductor.
So as we all know once we in there replace or upgrade.
I did order new overlap sleeves.
I was thinking of getting a deeper pan and also blue tops.
!. is it worth it to buy the deep pan?
2. is it worth to also buy the blue tops
thanks in advance.

worth it
or
forget it
Blue Tops....most TCU tune's normally require the blues for better performance.

I appreciate the input and insight which makes sense.
I'll just order the blue tops then and not the deeper pan.

In the process of of this job and got the pan off. Soon Ill be taking off the valve body, Do I have to purge the remaining fluid out of the vavle body and torq convertor?
Or will I be fine just getting whateve fluid I can.
The large maginet is filled with sludge and this will be the second transmission job with new filter.
But wow there was a lot of fluid in the connector for sure.
thanks

One bit of advice when installing new overlap sleeves make sure to soak them in trans fluid or they will be hard to insert them back in and one of the sleeves is smaller I.D
plus my 06 already has blue tops, I want to check part number to see if the one I purchased are updated version.
