Two '05 E55's Available
I stopped by one of my local MB dealers yesterday, Barrier Motors in Bellevue, WA. They have two '05 E55's for sale. One is silver/black with 11 miles and the other black/black with 20 miles on it. The silver/black has only a couple of options, MSRP $85k asking price $100k. The black/black is loaded with almost every option, MSRP $95k asking $110k.

Ridiculous. Dealer should be slapped. With sales tax, you are gonna be close to 120!
|
Those days are over, I just ordered mine with a $2500.00 discount.
|
All the dealers in my area will sell AMG at MSRP. Even the 65's are going for MSRP that are in the showrooms.
|
I can't believe people are still asking over MSRP...that's crazy. No offense, I love my car and all but it ain't worth $100K - geez

:word:
Remember, though, that MikeE55 is talking about Bellevue, WA - a short commute from Redmond - land of special markups for Microsoft execs with $$$ burning a hole in their pocket. They'll probably sell every one w/ the markup. :hammer: MSRP is still the rule here in Atlanta, regardless of model. |
Yea but anyone with half a brain can buy the car a state over, pay no more than a grand to ship it, and its done. Forget 20+ grand over sticker.
For 120 grand Id be looking at TT territory..not the beast. |
But if you just have to have it TODAY Barrier will be more than happy to bend you over and give it to you!! Of course they offered me $30k for my '01 in trade for the $110k '05. They'd probably end up making $40k on the deal. Not bad huh? And they act like they'd be doing me a favor. I'll NEVER buy a car from them. I was just curious what you people would have to say about this sleazy dealer $15k over MSRP markup. :beat:

I was just at my local dealership last week and they have a 2005 E55 (black/charcoal). I'm sure they'll sell at a discount. I think sticker was $86k or so, I bet they'd give a few K of the price.
Over sticker is just stupid, PM if you want my dealership information to contact. :y |
what a joke..... I was offered a discount off MSRP the other day on a new 2005 E55, sticker was 84,500.....
