Just wanted to say hello and that I bought a slightly used W212 E63 on Friday and I'm waiting to get it shipped to me. I see some of you are talking about the performance package on them. What is an easy way, by looking at the car, to tell if an E63 has the performance package? (I bought mine site unseen)

It's probably that "buyer's remorse" thing. But you have done everything you possibly can. It will be okay as long as you pay a reasonable fair-market-value price.

As for the P30 package, the 3 spokes alcantara steering wheel is not everything since that steering wheel also can be ordered separately. I think the P30 has the red calipers but I may be wrong. The best is to run the built sheet at any MB dealer for the specs. For appearance, I think others will be able to chip in...

Looks nice, man. But it much be a nervous drive over less than perfect road, esp with potholes.
