Small flaw in the new MCT..
Well, its not really the design of MCT thats flawed, but the placement of the button, and it will be a problem for previous MB owners.
So, this "accident" happened last night, when I was turning out from the garage. I stepped on the gas a bit to get it rolling, and I thought i'd switch the transmission mode to S for a spirited drive. After owning an C55 for 4+ years, I'm used to pressing buttons to change the mode. However, guess what the button on the W212 does at the location where the m/c/s button was on the W203...
Anyways, I was going around 10km/h or less when I realized what I just did then I braked. Will this damage the gears?

What did the car do? I would think that if you were moving that it would just ignor the command. Since our cars won't let you shift from 7th to 1st at 100 MPH, I doubt that it will let you select P when you are moving.
