I wanna post a few vids but I want to block out or blurr out the plate number. Anybody know any free applications that allow you to do that?

Thanks.

What editing program are you using? FCP, Avid, Vegas, Premiere? iMovie? You basically create a blur .png and paste it into your NLE program (but each program has its own way of doing it.) The .png blur file you make in any photo editor like PS. So, it depends on which editor you use....

I don't know anything about Windows movie maker, but if you export as an .avi file (using format factory) you can use this software: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n_X8jWng9aM (wait for a few seconds with the video and they will demonstrate all the steps and the software.)

Just ignore the part about using Audacity since you're not concerned with sound. This should work on any file since it's not software specific (once you've exported it out of your movie maker program.)

The only hard part is selecting and pasting since you're using a moving file. You need to be patient and go through all the frames. It's a bit time consuming.
