It is definately cheaper, I spent a total of $320 dollars to get the car lowered (includes springs and links). Is it better? I am not sure since I have not driven a car that had the coilovers. I can say that the wife does not notice the difference in ride quality, if she did, I would have heard about it today.

I used C63 springs before, it was perfectly fine but after couple thousand miles it squeek everytime I turn after cold start but it dissapear after couple of turns and runs. So, I decided to order the KW coilovers, still waiting for it to come.

My shop said that the springs collapsed due to the weight difference between C63 and E63.

Thanks for the info. I will need to keep an eye and ear out for that. That is kinda odd that the shop said that. I thought the engines weighed the same, so the front end weight shouldn't be much different.

Thanks everyone for the comment. So far I'm pretty happy with the ride quality and the height. Let's see how much more it goes down when the springs start to settle.

Thats what I thought too, but if you actually look at the specs for the weight I think it is actually the weight of the car. But I'm not sure that's just IF it's weight difference case.

Wheels are a perfect fit and no fender rolling is required.
No rubbing even with full load of 3 people in the back and going over hump in the road at 80 MPH.

Nice. I have that with the 2011 E350 with Iridium Silver and live in LA.

Please advise the price you paid for everything out the door including mounting and balance. I got quoted $ 2,730 out the door including mounting and balancing with Hankook Ventus V12 tires. If you got an better price, I would like to hit them up with a set ?

Also, do you have any rubbing or scrapping issues going through speed bumps? Is the wheels set flushed with the fender? How much did it actually lower your car?

Please kindly advise with many thanks.

Just got some new wheels put on the car, wheel size is 20x9 (f) and 20x10.5 (r). Tire size 295/25/20 (r) and 245/30/20 (f). Have not had time to lower the car (yet). Thanks to Chris at DNJ wheels in Garden Grove for the hook up.
If any of you guys are local and are looking for geat deals on wheels, give Chris a call at DNJ Wheels.

Photos were taken on my Iphone so its not perfect. Thanks

LOVE IT..BUT...

I think the tires are too skinny for the wheel. They seem to be stretched a bit on the rim.
I think a tire should fit square on the wheel not pulled...
maybe once drop that will be hidden...

Sorry for the late response.
It was a few years ago but i think i paid a bit less that that. Since it has been a few years ago, i am thinking that the price of the wheels and tires should have dropped by now so i think that it should be alot less.
No issues with the wheels scraping.
Since you have a 350 the fronts should be fine also, to me, it just seemed like for the AMG cars the front wheels could have been a bit wider.
Lt me know if you need anymore input. Thanks

Thanks for your reply.

Please kindly advise the wheel and tire sizes with offset. I was told by Vossen:

20x8.5 +44 w/ 245/30 20"
20x10.0 +55 w/ 285/25 20"

Many thanks.

That seems a bit off.
The car is sold with the wheels, but here is what I recall.
Offset looks like they are: 32 (f) and 42 (r).
20x9 (f) and 20x10.5 (r).
Tire size 295/25/20 (r) and 245/30/20 (f)
Fronts could have easily accommodated 255 or even 265
Thanks
