Not that it weighs to much into the discussion, but are there any weight savings from the 6.2L to the 5.5L engine? In other words, is handling better in the 5.5L E63 vs the 6.2L E63?

Kind of digging up an older thread, but I didn't read any mention of turbo lag for the M157.

Do you experience any noticeable turbo lag in the m157?

Never. I think the way the tranny works negates it

Porsche 911 Turbo S 2014! E63S 14, Audi S8 13, CLS63 12, E550 12, C63 09, all tuned
I just traded a E63 2010 M156 for E 63 S 2014 with M157.
After buying a CLS 63 2012 with M157 the E 63 with M156 feel slow.
Look at the stock dyno sheets for M156/M157 and compare.

2018 S560 and 2019 E450 Wagon.
I believe the 157's are more fuel efficient too. I'm really liking my TT 157, very fast, sounds great and not bad on gas at all considering it's power, much better than the CTS-V I traded in for this car.

I get around 23 mpg highway on my 157, that's darn good and it has a good range with the large fuel tank too.

21 gallons in the wagon, the CTS V I had it was only 18 gallons, not enough at 18 MPG.
