Funny thing! You are right about sedan on CDN website... weird since wagons are a later buid than sedans. This vehicule launch process is puzzleling for sure...

Anyone seen a cavansite blue AMG wagon in person (pre 2014)? I have to say it's quite nice on the configurator but sometimes in real life it's not the same. Less sleeper than black or white though!

residual estimated to 49%... bummer that is worst than I was expecting (as mentionned in other threads... arround 54%)

MBWorld Fanatic!
Are the prices insanely different than US ?
I tried building one and AMG carbon fibre package, Premium, Driving Assistance, Ceramic, Bang and Olufson and the price was over
140,000 CDN does that seem right or some options are expensive in Canada compared to US ?

I spected my "dream car" to 145k CDN (fully loaded except carbon fiber package). Insane! Plus residual value is less in canada so payments are even higher on a lease...

The market is smaller, hence lower residuals. How many E63 Wagons do you think will come to Canada? 10 for the 2014 model year?
I know there are 2 coming to Calgary so far. The E63 wagon is probably more rare than the C63 BS in Canada, but depreciation is crazy. haha

My dealer has 2 allocations for wagons in december, 2 other prospects waiting for allocations... I guess with 4matic and practical aspect of wagon the number is going to be more then 10... they can't produce them quick enough to meet demand right now...
Maybe the mentality in america is going to change (Who needs Suburbans and big SUVs when a wagon, like in the good old days, can be all that is needed?) I wish automakers would bring more wagons to the market... What are the choices now for a sport wagon? Audi dropped the A4 and A6 avant (yes the allroad is there but...), Subaru went with a more SUV like approach, saab is dead, volvos stopped making wagons, the american automakers have no offerings in that class (The dodge Magnum was cool, too bad they dropped it).
I've been a fan of wagons all my life (first car was a 86 VW Fox wagon, now I own a 93 Sportcombi). I hope MB will continue to bring wagons and be pionners in a market that was once flourishing with wood-sided american wagons!
