Big thanks to Tony and Omega Motorsports for putting on another great event, this time No Fly Zone IV 1/2 mile roll on at Minter Field Airport.

My 2013 E63 w/ Renntech Intermediate Tune and RADO Downpipes ran extremely well. The new downpipes clearly added some top end power since I pulled on several cars that pulled me at the last event. The weather was rather warm with afternoon temps in the 80s, but my car never skipped a beat and ran consistent traps in the 161-163mph range all day . Below are vids of several of my runs.

Thanks. Plugs are stock, and have BMC air filters.

I think he has it set up for a certain octane with his mods. He will explain better.

Thanks Vic. Sorry to disappoint, but that's wasn't Jim's SLS. His is supercharged now I think and would have killed me.

As I understand it, the Intermediate tune is for 91 octane, which is what I'm limited to at the pump here in CA. Still seems to work pretty darn well.

Last event at this same location I was running consistent 156-158mph, and in cooler weather. So the downpipes seemed to add a solid 5mph to 1/2 mile trap. Coupled with the much improved sound, seems like money well spent!

Based in these results, I highly recommend the RADO downpipes to anyone out there considering going that route.

AWD happened... that system robs power up top... I wonder what the wheel hp is on the Weistec car.


It still did pretty damn well and if this was a dig race it would be lights out.




Edit: I think ive seen you school Turbo S cars (997.2) with similar mods and you were slower then too- what was in that BBI car?? (I expected upgraded turbos for that pull)

This was my buddy's car that you've seen in prior videos where we've been really close. He since added an upgraded race tune, intercooler, and exhuast, netting 90whp gain. Car with exact same setup as this ran 9.8 at 137mph quarter at PBIR! So I was just happy to keep him in the camera angle this time around.
