Summer Tires
Looking to order some new summer tires. I don't even want to run the contis (want oem tires for trade-in) and I think we may have seen the end of winter (finally) in Calgary
Here is what tire rack has available in OEM sizing, that I am considering
Bridgestone potenza RE050A - set of 4 - $1278
Bridgestone Potenza S001 RFT - $1704
Looks like more money for run-flats. Anyone have thoughts on this tire?
Pirelli P Zero - $1156 (I have been impressed with their sottozero winter tire)
I am really disappointed that Michelin doesn't have a tire on offer in our OEM sizing. The Pilot Super Sport is the best tire I have ever run.
It is available in 295.... I could go up to that. I ran 275s on the back of my C63 (oem is 255) and didn't notice any problems. I am not having any traction issues with the E like I was with the C though.. 4 tires for $1126 looks like a good price too.
Anyone have any thoughts? Will 295s fit on the OEM wheels on a 2014?

i drive them all, fast and hard
kept stock upfront, 295 in rear, took advice of most of the people here who had done it...
yeah its a little bulgy looking, but it protects the rim...stock rims as in my signature
you dont get that cool look that PSS have when they are maxxed out but thats not the point of it..
i run 41psi hot in so-cal all around

That was quick Choco! Post some pics of rear setup once installed! Seems like the logical way to go.

I am anxioius to drive the car with some proper rubber! Been on winters since delivery.

So I have been running PSS in 295s on the rear for about 800km now. Just as awesome as I remember them from my C. Rears look fine. I highly recommend these tires! Traction has never been a problem. 295s + 4matic is a great way to get all the power down
