Anyone move from the f10 550xi to the e63? Any thoughts both positive and negative?

Also would love thoughts on current discounts people are seeing vs MSRP.

E63 all day! styling is way better, F10 5 series from a side view is too flat for me!

Yes, size is pretty much the only difference between different current Bimmer series.

tested the F10M5 and E63 back to back before ordering the AMG. Styling is a big difference, interior and exterior, the AMG is menacing, the M, mundane. Driving the 2 was similar, coming from an earlier M5 and having tracked M3s, the F10 M5 felt more familiar. I was also RPM restricted in the AMG when testing.

M5 E39 was much better

E63 is a Supercar (S AMG)

Liked M5, and tried to buy one every new generation, but for some reason or another, I go a different direction...usually AMG. Fast forward to this Tuesday and did a back to back and though the M5 had more equipment and better technology packages, I liked the E63S better, yet again. I had a W212 E63 in 2010 and the bi turbo takes it to a whole new level. Bought the E63S. Delivery today or Saturday.

Got approx $12K discount off the $104K sticker. BMW dealer was reticent to go below $9.2K discount for a $111K car. Pity because if they discounted more, I'd have gone with the M5 just to finally try one. My SA and SM were awesome during the sale process. Guess it was not meant to be an M5...yet again!
