"10" e63 TRANNY QUESTIONS
I was wondering if anyone else has had these problems. The first is sometimes when I'm downshifting in manual mode the tranny shifts down and then all of a sudden I lose engine braking, kind of like it went to neutral. The second is also happens in manual mode. When pulling up to a stop going really slow I hit the downshift paddle and the light indicating the gear your in flashes from 3rd to 2nd and then right back to 3rd. Hitting the paddle again will take it back to 2nd right away. Wondering if this is normal or should I plan a trip to the dealer.

Same here, never used manual actually... If manual shifting is a big part of your drive take it in to get checked out ... I will say this... This mct is far from perfect and very quirky at times ... And for how rarely you are experiencing this, I bet it's in the realm of normal
