First Mercedes, First AMG photos
Test drove the AMG and F10M5 back to back, and there was little to separate the 2 for me, however, the more aggressive styling inside and out tipped the balance toward the AMG.
I love it.
It's a daily driver, and does family/sport duties also. Unfortunately we live on a dirt road, so keeping her clean keeps me busy. Hoping to use another easement to enter our property (16 acres, 6.4ha) which would allow me to have sealed road all the way to the front door.
We have to have front licence plates by law. I had the sticker made. Will probably try it without the black mounting plate and put the sticker directly onto car.
Favourites - the sound, the engine, distronic plus cruise.
Not so keen on - exhaust carbon deposits on rear bumper, boot lid.
Mods - one; Tree Nail.

the licence plate is actually pretty cool looking and matches the calipers. It's more difficult to do a clean plate job with american type plates...
Thanks for the kind words.

Holden SS V Redline is about $53 000AUD.
List price for S AMG around $250 000 AUD. You've really got to want one.
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
Wow, that must really help out the Redline Sales. That's like 234,000 usd. I notice the Panermera Porsche Turbo runs around 380000. http://www.drive.com.au/new-car-revi...529-2nb1e.html I'm willing to bet a lot of people get the Redline and modify it with twin turbos or a supercharger to better the hp of the Benz. Although the Benz is a more refined better car. The G8GT I had had a cheap plastic dash, although the seats were comfortable and the car was fairly solid. It was actually about the best Value I ever got in a car as I bought it when things were really bad in 2008 as a former hertz rental car with 6000 miles on it for 20 grand, that was a deal considering the sticker on the car was around 32 grand. That 30 percent tax is just crazy, I hope it does not come down to something like this in the states, it would not surprise me though. This car looks nice for around 100 grand. http://www.carsguide.com.au/car-news...9#.U8xx0jNOXIU

You' ve made the right choice. I had both E39M5 and E60 and none of them are even close to AMG.

enjoy this beast!
