Proposed E63 S Deal-- Your Thoughts Please
After some discussion with my local MB dealer (a very large one in the New York City area), the dealer will order me a 2015 E63 S at $1500 above invoice minus any applicable incentives. Dealt directly with the General Manager and that is their best and final offer. Dealer has no issue showing me the invoice and it is easily available online anyway at sites like Edmunds.
Your thoughts on this proposed margin for the deal? Good? Bad? Best offer I got for the BMW M5 Comp Pack was $1000 over invoice minus incentives to order a car.

I got the same price over invoice on my 14 E63 Wagon. It was the best deal from the eight dealers I contacted so I think you did fairly well.

That's a good deal- tied for best (along with Patric) for the best price on an ordered wagon. the best money factor leases is about 0.00195, settling for 0.002 is fine
$1000 over invoice on a specialty car isn't terrible
if you leave don't get more miles than you need
don't get jammed on extra warranty prices, they mark em up quite a bit

Highly likely my car will arrive at dealer early September, not sure if the financing rate will go up in Sep. Hope not as 0.9 is amazing, maybe it will be drapped to 0.5 or something which is even better, fingers crossed.

And for an AMG car the GM of a dealership will often talk directly to the customer. Phone interaction took all of 5 minutes. No going into dealership. No games. No pressure or stupid sales practices of going back and forth to the manager through the salesperson.
