Whos had their tune the longest?
I was curious how many people are running tunes on their m157. Would love to hear feedback on ( Reliability, Years and miles since tune, negatives/positives ) Pretty much anything from you tuned guys/girls.
Thank you

I had my car tuned by oe tuning three months after i got my car which is a three year lease. I have about 5 months to go on the lease.
Zero problems stemming from the tune itself. Just like oem but much faster. Zero issues or mentions of a tune even being done when the car is serviced at the dealer. Just had the starter replaced under warranty.
I would recommend this tune without second thought. For me on a lease it was the equivalent of a couple bucks a month.

Unless a person changes the plugs themselves, I'm wondering if a MB dealer would be curious as to why the plugs needed to be changed and possibly check the tune?

tune was installed at time of new delivery. i want to say we replaced plugs at 10k and 20k miles. not remembering exactly. i did try a set of the cooler Renntech plugs and found them to be not worth it in my case. i don't run the car very hard.

Curious if you got their intermediate or full tune and whether or not you did a base line dyno before the install? I have been talking to them but still on the fence, thanks.

I'm also curious if you went with the intermediate tune. Are you happy with the tune and how much longer to you expect to keep your car, also how do you know when you need new plugs?

i'm very happy with the tune, and even happier with the sound that comes from the downpipes. car sounds better than i had even imagined it could. these m157 motors use plugs. you'll know when the car throws a code saying so. simple check engine light, but you'll need the shop to confirm the code.
