Actually drivability improves..with better throttle response...more linear power delivery and the increase in torque just makes for a better driving experience all around..

2015 E63S AMG & 2013 GLK350
I ended up going with AMS, initially with a mail order tune and eventually had it on their dyno while on a trip past Chicago - first class service and beautiful facility. Car Runs excellent and made a best of 605hp and 733tq to the wheels, amazing the difference - my only complaint is that heat soak in hot weather is more noticeable but I have not done any heat exchanger upgrades so maybe that would help. Otherwise 19k miles and no issues.
I chose AMS because I believe they have more experience with high horsepower forced induction engines than others out there, and I think understanding the needs of a forced induction engine are key to making them live in extreme conditions
Anyway here's a couple of recent pics with my new Cardinal red C300 - I've really fallen for the color combo

Very nice. That's a good reason. They have been tuning forced induction engines for quite some time & get amazing results. I was looking at their site for the CLS550 & they're quoting 575hp/660tq. Just unreal numbers. Renntech & Eurocharged are both quoting 530hp/606tq.
My wife recently got a black C300 & she absolutely loves it. I like driving it myself. Surprisingly quick.

They are just numbers...how long do you want your drive train to live...Renntech can make the number much higher too..it soon becomes a crap shoot..wrong fuel and poof
