Purchase Advice - Custom Order E63 Wagon
About to wade into this process. Any tips on what to expect and how to get the best deal?

Also, will be seriously considering European Delivery curious about combinability of the ED discount with others such as the USAA rebate.

Can you still build a 15? I was going to but the sales manager told me they stopped building the 15 early... not sure why. So I'm going with a 14 and getting a good discount.

My wagon was just built and waiting to be shipped. If that is true, that would be a very short production year.

Agree.. which is why I thought it was funny. I was either going to buy a custom build 15 from him or a "holdover" 14 from a different dealer. So no real reason for him to "lie" to me. I'm guessing they will build what they have but will not accept more orders. On a side note he does all the ordering and transferring for his dealer so he should know.

I do not believe ED can be combined with a fleet discount. I can connect you with a dealer who can get you about 8 percent off MSRP on an ordered wagon And you can then add your fleet discount on top of that with that dealer.

$1000 over invoice is a price I'd consider. Some have waited upwards of one year from order to delivery.

Correct. Although you can get the car at about 8.5% off MSRP if you know what dealer to approach.

An excellent deal. And you can add fleet discount or factory to dealer cash on top of that.
