Is this just the sport mufflers or do you also have the Renntech downpipe (catted or not) wich also increases the sound ?

I was advised by an expert in Renntech mods that the combo of the downpipes and sport mufflers produce so much noise that the car might not be suitable for daily driver duty. So I went with just the sport mufflers. As modded it is super loud and that is with the acoustic laminated glass. With downpipes too it would be deafening.

hey if I met you someplace would you be ok with me listening to the car? I am in Rockland and I would drive to SI to hear them. I have a couple of loud cars and love them loud just not sure if I want my daily as loud as they are.

I didn't take a photo on the lift as I was not there during installation. Once installed you would not know the difference as they fit to the OEM exhaust tips. You would need to put the car on the lift to see the difference. The Renntech sport mufflers are a lot smaller and lighter than the stock mufflers.
I was looking for a different option then, wanting to replacing OE tips.

From the video in post #1 they sound a bit louder than stock but still tame, so I guess it's not representative of what you experienced ?

I like the sound so much that I find myself turning off the radio to listen to the engine/exhaust noise. Perhaps I am making up for lost time because my 2012 BMW 550xi had no exhaust sound whatsoever.

I don't know squat about exhausts but was wondering if someone finds the sound too loud with 2 sports muffler, would it be possible to put only one and leave the other stock or will it screw the computer because of different back pressure between the 2?

You can try the resonator delete. It takes off the mini muffler which is centrally located so you still have symmetry in the exhaust system. Maybe about 25% louder than stock volume and also the quality of the sound is more edgy (less muffled, for lack of a better term lol). No drone when cruising and nearly like stock till you step on it.

Met up with Clk63blkseries and gave him about a 30 minute ride from start up, driving in traffic and pure highway so he could see about the Renntech full tune and Renntech sport mufflers in action in every situation.
I will let him post with feedback if he wishes to.
