anyone have the car automatically switch you from manual to sport plus? During some spirited driving recently I experienced this. It just switched out of manual randomly. I put it back to manual then it did it again. Kinda freaked me out. Like the car didn't like what I was doing and wanted to take over???

Sounds like it's time to visit your local Mercedes dealer.It don't sound right .

Your switch needs to be replaced

I have had the whole panel replaced twice for switches being screwed up. One for the "P"arking button and the other for the 4 buttons.

Under warranty, each time was $2500+ just the shifter handle alone was $650.

Seems very similar to how the car reverts to S+ after completion of race start. Which I've finally figured out.

If it does it again, look at the temperatures, won't be surprised if the gearbox is running to hot and then switches you to sport+, or also on the flip side if its to cold they sometimes hop back to sport plus quickly

It hasn't done it since.
I've tried to duplicate. But it seems fine.
