The 4matic in 2014 is a big plus with the amount of power these cars are producing. I see you live in Ct so I would go with the 2014 if I were you. Also to consider i the different look... Some like the pre facelift look better.

The RWD '12's are definitely harder to launch than the 14'+, but rotate in the corners a little better (when you are rocking out in the twisties).
I wouldnt be excited to ever drive my RWD model in "winter weather" without a total change of tires. The 4matics have a *significantly* better time of winter weather.

thats what i thought the '12 seems priced too high
the '14 seems too low.. given the car can be totaled but given it is cpo'd?
ill probably hold off a bit and keep my B7 until one shows up..

I would look for the 2014+ however but the wagon is a bit of a unicorn be prepared to pay a bit for a pristine one and they'll go fast
As an FYI i just did a cross country cruise with my E63S...HUD is a must...only down side is polarized sunnies make it almost imposible to see the HUD during the day.
At night it was a beautiful thing...
