2010 E63 more reliable than 2007-2009?
hi all. i'm about to pull the trigger on a 30-45 thousand mile 2010 e63, but I would like to know if both the head bolt issue and the leaking air shocks issues were resolved (or for the most part) for the 2010's? any real world info would be much appreciated. tnx!

I have a 2010. Instead of worrying about "issues", I bought a 3 year unlimited mile CPO warranty. I have not had to use it yet, but if any of these mysterious issues arise, I'm covered. Also, I spent less money than a 2011 and with the money I saved, I bought a Sig 516, and a sick Breitling.

has anyone had success getting third party insurance to cover head bolt issue? Looking to pick up 2010-11 e63 but extremely worried about this. it's extremely disappointing that amg is not standing behind their product.
Regarding the air suspensions leaking, I believe they have conventional coil overs now.

I guess you could factor a grand out of the buying price to have the headbolt job done privately after buying the car?
As for air suspension - there are only two air springs on the car and tbh all cars are going to start falling apart at some point in their life after a few years anyway, so just buy a car that feels solid on the inspection and go with your gut instinct.
