Hi. I am new to the E63 cars. Looking at a 2010 at a dealer, it is CPO even at 54K miles which is good. I notice the car had red calipers and the alcantra steering wheel but no mention of P30 performance package. I thought they were only available as part of the P30 package! Is this just regular E63 without the P30?
Is there a way to look up all the options and msrp? Vin is WDDHF7HBXAA115562
Car asking is $42,998 which seems a bit high for the mileage. Any thoughts?

Pretty sure the red calipers and wheel are just optional extra's...that's what seems to be the case by looking at the spec sheet for my car.

I believe the P30 option gives firmer struts all over (or maybe just firmer rear air springs?) and LSD. FWIW the car does handle really very well in the stiff suspension setting (really well for a nearly 2 tonne slab of beef, but can keep up with some fast cars on the right roads with the right driver). Oh and I think the P30 package also has the lightweight two-piece rotors...but don't quote me on that one.

From what I remember, the P30 for 2010 E63 only add some cosmetic items to the cars like steering wheel. You do get the lovely forged wheels with the P30. The red calipers are not available until MY 2012 so the original owners must have done something with them. You are not getting much warranty left with this CPO car. Have the dealer use the vin number to run the build sheet.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Much appreciated. Was hoping that had the p30 package but sounds like maybe not. Dealer mentioned CPO will have 1 year warranty... Plus option for 2-3 more years. I will see if the dealer can run th build sheet for me.

Maximum number of factory warranty is 7 years from the date the vehicle is put in service. Thus the warranty period left for you to buy will continue to decrease even if the car is just sitting on dealer's lot without being driven. Make sure you clarify those details with them.

I'll match dealer pricing on my CPO 2010 Black on Black with Renntech style headers, software, 46,500 miles, and CPO UNLIMITED mile warranty expiring July 2018.

Also, the car is flawless.



In fact, if you find a cleaner (inside and out) 2010 E63, I will buy you a full tank of gas, no questions asked.

And just for ****s and giggles, I'll throw in a couple thousand dollars worth of rainy day gear. NIB, still factory sealed, FRONT AND REAR OEM rotors and pads. Boxed, sealed in plastic. Those have to be worth $2-$3K?

Otakki...great info. The car was 1st sold on 11/09/2009. So the max warranty can't exceed 11/09/2016. Leaving only about 1 year of possible CPO/extended warranty. I was hoping to get 2 more years of warranty.

Check the discussions on the headbolt issue regarding some 2010 E63 cars.

It's not an issue if you have warranty. My car was in the shop for four days getting headbolts done as preventative maintenance. I got to drive around in a brand new GLE, it was great.

TheVazha...Did the dealer replace the headbolts as preventative? I thought they would not fix them until they become a problem! Thanks for the feedback.

Wow, that's one clean car you have there. It looks like it's straight out of the factory.
Indeed, I'm unaware that preventive work can be done on the headbolts. Please PM me with some details if you could. It's difficult knowing when is a good time to call.
