Just wondering how much life u have gotten from them.

Have u changed just pads front or back first

Or with rotors too.

At what mileage did it occur.

I know driving styles etc matter but just curious.

I'm at 36k and rears are squeaking but have not received any. Dash notification.

36k miles seems impressive if you haven't gotten them replaced yet

FF. W212 E63 M156 non-pano 18" P2 ParkT NightV (gone but will be missed).
At 46K miles now and still have tons of meat on them. However I do a lot of highway miles and plenty of engine braking.

At 19K miles now, wondering if squeaking breaks are a sign of worn pads or if this is normal for these breaks during cold weather months.

I haven't noticed any issues with braking feel or distance.

Did u guys above do front or rears. What went first. And was it just pads or rotors. Or both.

I felt my rear rotors and did no feel a lip on them. So hopefully they are good.

My 2006 GMC denali has 110000 on front pads and rotors. And the service guy says they are still fine. The rears we turned rotors at 85k and changed pads. Weird rears went first

Unbelievable fronts are still good

I'm about to hit 44K miles and the pads are about 1/2 worn front and rear, but as Ottaki says, I too do a lot of highway driving back and forth from up north to Florida. I'm hoping to go around 100K miles before having to replace the pads. If you leave lane tracking assist on all the time I'd think you'd wear your pads faster as it brakes different sides to pull the car back in the lane. I tend not to use this feature for that reason. I only turn it on when I'm really tired.

He paid $1100 for front pads and rear pads, not rotors, the front rotors alone will run you like $1500 for a pair, online pricing.

Leased my E and got the carbon ceramics, I factored in the cost of doing brakes during my lease term if I went with the standard brakes. The ccb option bump in payment was minimal and I don't have to worry about brakes. Besides after owning this car with the ccb I would definitely do it again.

Carbon ceramics don't mean you never have to change them out...just less heat build up in heavy braking like track use.

Yes I know carbon ceramics require maintenance but your going to get at least 60,000+ miles before you will need pads and also the cost is much higher, but I can with certainty tell you I will not be doing any brake service in my 3 year lease

Pads and rotors were replaced under warranty at 19K miles for my 2014 E63S in July 2014. Just replaced all brake pads recently at 55K miles, and rotors were still good. I replaced pads with EBC Reds at a total cost of $400, installation included, and quite happy with it. Will see how long it lasts before I need to replace rotors all round. If and when that happens, I might go with Racing Brakes' rotor/pad package.

Before you go replacing pads and rotors I HIGHLY recommend you check out Racing brakes full 2 piece rotors & pad set for your car. Do NOT replace the stock pads for $1100, that's way too much.

The entire RacingBrake 2piece rotor kit includes all 4 rotors + 4 brake pads + Stainless steel brake lines + motul 600 brake fluid all for only $2,275! It's honestly by far THE best deal on brakes.

Not to mention by upgrading to their kit you reduce your overall unsprung rotating mass by a whopping 20lbs! (And that's over the OEM 2-piece...the gains over the heavier one piece is over 30lbs). The Racing brake rotors are also made of a much harder steel allow and will last significantly longer and benefit from far superior cooling due to their patented vane design.

Don't forget the 100 dollars in shipping. How long do these racing brake rotors last? I was thinking of doing the fronts. Thats around 1400 for fronts. 200 for rear rotors that anyone sells, 175 or less for a set of pads. 1775 total. If you skip the stainless steel lines and brake fluid, its approx 2280 shipped. Do the rotors really last long enough to justify an extra 500 dollars to do the full set?
