ACG Automotive | AMS Performance | E63S Alpha 9 Wagon
Having poked around in a few other threads teasing with some pictures of the build process for our latest project with AMS Performance I finally had a chance to get some photos of the car all put back together before we delivered it over Holiday break.
This 2014 E63S Wagon came to us in pretty lethal form already. Equipped with Renntech exhaust components and a Kleemann ECU calibration it was already a complete joy to drive. Something about these wagons having ~500 hp and AWD is in some ways a complete joke, or a fantasy to someone like me. Adding another 300hp on top of will make your cheeks hurt for days and do one hell of an ab workout because you'll laugh your *** off punching this thing in a straight line AND through the corners.
I promise you all some videos of this thing in action because it will get tracked. Half mile roll racing and circuit events will keep this thing busy over it's lifetime and we couldn't be happier it won't be getting groceries or making Home Depot runs it's entire existence.
Modification list now consists of:
- AMS Performance Alpha 9 Turbo Upgrade
- AMS Performance Carbon M157 Carbon Intake System
- AMS Performance Heat Exchanger
- AMS Performance Coolant Expansion Tank
- AMS Performance ECU Calibration
- Weistec Engineering 3" Downpipes
- Renntech Sport Mufflers
- Renntech Sleeve Kit and V3 Module
- Avant Garde 20" Forged Wheels
- Michelin Pilot Sport 2 Tires
- Satin Black Vinyl Trim
- Custom Painted Emblems
- Carbon Fiber Mirror Buckets
- Escort 9500ci Radar Detector
- Xpel Ultimate Paint Protection Film
Thanks for checking it out and let me know if you guys have any questions on this build or any of its components or services we offer

2019 E63S wagon; 2016 Landrover Landmark
Great looking wagon! I'm a sucker for fast wagons... always have been.
What kind of numbers does this make? Or when will you post dyne figures? Seems most dynos have shown the stock M157 engine is putting out 640-670hp depending on test conditions. So getting to a claimed 750hp or even 800hp with $20k+ of work and a voided warranty seem to be have steep diminishing marginal utility curve relationship. FWIW, I want to keep the 5.5ltr for as long as it will run, so as to avoid the ever-shrinking AMG displacement sizes.
And if money is no object and trashing any RS7 that pulls up to the line at the drag strip is the objective, then I'm all for it. And I look forward to the videos/dyno results.
Nice work.

I was expecting a performance video. If I gotta watch something like that (and it was well done so don't get me wrong) at least put some girls in there!

We will have tons of data and videos soon enough. This was something we just quickly put together after the car was buttoned up and delivered.
This car now has race gas calibrations and will be out at Shift-S3ctor in late april doing the half mile and competing in the AMG/BMW Trap and Roll Race competitions.
Our dyno, being a Mustang AWD, is probably the lowest reading dyno I've been around. It's a rolling road, a safe environment for us to test a vehicle. Numbers are pointless on this thing. For giggles here's the dyno of this car in comparison to my Alpha 9+ GTR and another customer's Alpha 7 GTR (Every bolt on) all running 91 Octane. Granted the GT-R can rev substantially higher, I can promise you the E63S demolishes them off the hit
You can see the numbers there. What we want to know is trap speeds in the real world
