W212 E63 power supply to low
My e63 te other day o notice that on my cluster was blinking... I open the light and I was raving it and they were blinking.... And I got it scan the only codes the come up is.... Power supply its low .... I'm thinking its a alternator any body know anything let me know thank u

Yeah, i replaced my voltage regulator on my 2010 e63. All was good, but then my battery went out, i am imagining because of the stress on the battery while the regulator was bad. I mean it was going from 100amps power, overcharging the battery, letting it bump up to 15v, all the way to PULLING 100amps from the battery, draining it down to the 8's and 9's while driving. I think around 8.7 the car shut off. After the voltage regulator, my amps are still varying while driving, but nothing like before.
There is one more video on my channel if you'd like to check it out.
Car did fine after voltage regulator, but then i noticed when i parked the car, i would turn it off and the battery would be at 12.5. Literally seconds after i turned it off it would drop to 12.0, then 11.9, etc. Replaced battery, it starts up every time, but i will say it still drops to around 12.3 when sitting. 12.5-14.8 when driving

That's how my voltage drops too... Where did u got the voltage regulator... I was thinking to change the whole alternator but a brand new one but thing it's $670 the dealer told me

Just get with the dealer, and give them your VIN and they should get you the right voltage regulator. I know there are some different ones so be careful. I almost ordered the wrong one. The dealer got me hooked up with the right one for around $120. Took like 30 minutes to install
