raceStart and disabling traction control
I couldn’t upload the videos so I snapped pix to prove that I’m in race start mode and the traction control is completely off at the same time while mph is moving up.
I saw a post on it a while ago so today I wanted to play around with it. Surprisingly it feels like it takes off much harder, my butt-omometer may be inaccurate lol. My tires are definitely breaking loose. I wish I video these while the car was running cooler because it felt insane off the line but even after 15 launches it was strong and breaking the tires still. After I did a regular race start launch like we would regularly and it did not feel as strong as when I was disabling traction control.
so basically you enable RS like normal, hit the gas but put your finger on the traction control button and hold it, it takes 3 seconds for traction control to disable so at that very moment you side step and take off. if you don’t side step atleast 2.8 sec or 3sec on the nose, the system will say RS disabeld and you will have to start again . What I would like is for you guys to try and get real proof that this works, real numbers. My vbox isn’t working for some damn reason and I wanted to use it to try an lig my 60ft. Maybe this isn’t working and maybe it will give us that perfect 60ft for that better quarter mile time. Either way I’m just trying something to give us a harder take off. I know being catless with a tune and a sprint booster could possibly be the reason it’s working great for me so I did take that into consideration.
PS can anyone instruct me how to post the videos I made for you guys to follow. For some reason it’s telling me I cannot

So one more step to perform while the guy operating the tree is yelling at me to hurry up and stage! Lol. I’ll give it a try at the track, I’m not a big believer in box numbers...

😂😂😂 . It’s really not that difficult. I wish I can post the video I made with a GoPro of how it’s timed. Usually you would press gas and side step. Its the same thing except hold traction down wait 2.5-3 sec and side step. I agree this will only be good when racing against your own numbers, this isn’t for racing anyone or reaction time. Lol

My experience with race start at the track was I was slower in the 1/4. I hit my best time just launching like I would at a stop light. That was bone stock though.

this is launching with traction control off. Usually race start you have to have sport on. If you notice last second I’m removed traction control the car seems to be taking off much harder. But I would like proof

not sure how to take that comment lol. Saw a post on someone who mentioned this and at first I was skeptical, but I gave it a go and when the timing was just right it felt to good not to put more effort into it lol. It breaks loose, but I wouldn’t say it’s tail happy. Also when I say proof, I mean I still am skeptical on how hard it’s actually taking off and the best way is real time, which I can’t do because I don’t have a track around me. And my vbox is t working. The butt dyno tends to give inaccurate readings lol
