E63 S Wagon, how do I find one of these
I made the mistake of falling in love with this wagon prior to realizing they're extremely hard to come by.
I'm looking for a Lunar Blue with all of the fixin's, new or CPO, any tips/tricks to procuring one of these beasts?
Thanks!

I was very lucky to find mine (lunar blue/light brown 16' wagon) the day it was posted for sale on carguru website. I had just about given up on finding one at that point. I say stay patient. Lunar blue is a fantastic color and the light brown complements it very well. Good luck with your search.

I had been looking for a long time....you have to search all of the common sites and if you find one that meets your needs and is not solid you need to get a deposit on it ASAP to hold it for you PPI. We were looking for a car with under 5k miles with certain options. We had to sacrifice color but it worked!

Sounds like I'm going to be searching for a while. Bummer, but I appreciate the advice.
In the meantime, any other recommendations for vehicles with room for child seats in the back and two 90lbs dogs in cargo with almost 600hp?
Most SUV's end up having such little space in the back for the dogs, that's why I was excited to learn about this wagon.

I contacted my local MB dealer about the wagon and he had this to say
"Currently there isn't any 2017 E Wagons available. The E Wagon will be shipped late December. The E wagon 63 is not being build anytime soon. There are currently 4 2016 E63 Wagon available in the US. Unfortunately, there isn't wagon in Blue."
Can anyone translate what "The E wagon 63 is not being build anytime soon" means? I tried to clarify with him and he said the same thing about only 4 in the country being available. Shipped in December, meaning more E63 dealer inventory later this year?

The wagon would be downright palatial for the dogs compared to our Q5!

They are rolling out the updated E class and the AMG's are last to be rolled out is what your dealer is saying.
As for the hunt for a used or new one, it takes time. I purchased mine last year after looking for 6 months. I had to make compromises in regards to color as I was holding out for a white or matte gray example. Never happened:-( don't give up as its an awesome car. Unfortunately, I'm selling mine in the next 6 months for a GLS63.

My wife has Q5 as well... let's just say I've driven her car once (reluctantly) since receiving the wagon 4 months ago.

Yeah, "A Better Way" E63...It is missing some key options too, like DAP. It's been up for sale a long time. There are maybe 20 used or new '14-16 AMG-S Wagons up for sale at any given time. Half of them are black, which I don't like, and Lunar Blue will be tough to find. Just wait and it should come!
