My wagon is dead to me

Yeah the recent tunes on the bmw TT have picked up a lot!
but I have also been reading a lot of limp mode cases (rod 5-7). The trans is a time bomb and will require a lot of work done to it continuously, even when upgraded. For stock and further amplified when tuned.
Seems the same with the outgoing model (SMG), nightmare for long term reliability/costs.
DCT seems to have a rather expensive downside

Sounds like he may be tuned. Do you have any other info on this particular X5M? I know a stock new one (F85) put down 512 awhp on a Dynojet. So just like the E63 S, it is putting out more than the advertised hp (567) in stock form. But the wagon should be significantly lighter so I would think he is definitely tuned.

If it is the newest one, it weighs in at almost 5,300lbs which is about 500lbs heavier than the wagon.
