Passport Radar Detector

As the car is still brand new to me, I'm trying to find out more about the features. One is the built-in radar detector. Its a Passport and there's a little gizmo in the glove box on the right hand side. I have no paperwork or anything from previous owner indicating what it is and I'd like to find out what I have exactly, how to operate it, mostly how to turn the volume down as it is VERY load when it goes off which happens quite a bit in city driving. I was told to go to a place like Cartoys and ask questions there . . . ?

Nice! That's a great gadget to get "for free" -- I have one installed with the integrated rear-view mirror display and absolutely love it. It may or may not have already paid for itself... I can neither confirm nor deny.

To adjust the volume, hold down the volume button. It will increase first, then press and hold again to decrease. You'll find instructions for this, and all of the other features (and there a lot) here:
