2012 Mercedes e63 PP, 2012 Porsche Cayenne S
I have a 2012 and I just hit 80k. Must say I am really enjoying the car and haven't had a lot of issues. I bought a CPO car from Mercedes and had them replace the airmatic when purchased since it was sitting low on the lot. Besides oil and tires I just replaced the front and rear brakes (rotors, pads etc.) I hope to drive it for another 80k. How many miles do you have?

I had 175,000 miles on my 2012 e63. Car is gone now but it was great. Excellent car, very reliable . Considering a purchase on a 2015 s63 now.

Car accident last winter. Nobody was injured thank God. I was so pissed when the insurance wrote it off, the car was soo reliable. I picked up a new escalade for the the winter and it's been at the dealer for the past 3 months getting fixed. GM is scrap

W212 - E63 AMG
From what my friends in Germany and Europe tell me, it's not uncommon for M156 cars to have 2-300k kilometres on the clocks without drama and still being used as daily drivers.

I will never understand why people get so bent out of shape with mileage. I know it's an indication of use/wear, but a modern car with a good owner, it shouldn't be the be-all and end-all. Maintenance is key.

I've been trying to press this mindset into my wife & her brother lately. The E63 is her daily although I'm the 1 that drives it correctly. The 2 of them were raised where the dealer does all maintenance (including a $50 oil change for $300) & a vehicle is worn out & needs to be traded in at 50k miles. I just don't get it.

Anyway, she just rolled 60k miles last week on our '12 E63. I imagine she's already saving for its replacement, but it'll be a while if I have any say over it. Love the looks of the '19 GT 4-door, but won't buy new when someone "competing with the Jone's" can take the initial hit.

I just purchased a 14 with 35k miles. We're driving down 8 hours down to Florida this year and debating if I should take the E63. Anyone gone on a long road trip in theirs? Sorry if this is off topic. I can delete if needed.

Driven to south TX from north Houston a couple times. Google Maps shows about a 6 hour trip, but I generally make it in 4-4.5 hours. Never an issue. I'd check fluids & the spare (I know it's an inflatable compact, but look for cracks & whatnot) as per any vehicle ahead of a road trip. I suspect you won't have any issues.

I'm only in week 2 of ownership and live about 3 miles from work. I don't take many road trips, but this may give me a good opportunity to get a good feel/learn the car.

With radar detector, laser jammer, Waze, and all that, right? Cities will be so much closer in a large state, and driving trips will be so much more enjoyable without speed traps. Speed traps: I refer to 'em as "legal highway robbery."

Matter of fact, but if you know the laws in TX, traffic laws only pertain to commercial traffic. Accept the ticket, set a court date & prove you weren't acting in commerce (know the statutes/code of course) & it'll be dismissed.

Mine does the same, exactly.

Sweet deal, I just purchased a 2014 E63 AMG S with 63k on the clock. Coming from a w221 S600, the last E I owned was an E550 4matic. The s600 like clock work has needed $1-3k of work every 15k miles. I remember with the E550 in 170k miles I had zero issues the entirety of owning the car. Anyone with a 2014-2016 with over 100k on it? Interested in knowing what to expect in terms of serious issues past 100k. I drive 40-60k a year and know that this E63 will have 100-200k very soon.
