Still enjoying the car as-is....but might be tempted with a Stage I tune at some point. Need a baseline dyno first.

+1, with just a renntech tune you should be fine, but is up to the dealer... my dealer is cool with it and even shipped my ecu back to renntech once after they overwrote my tune during a warranty claim

Thanks for the feedback. I'm in no hurry and my decision to tune will hinge on what this particular car puts down numbers-wise on the dyno and at the track.
Just back from getting tinted before/after (used ceramic tint all around, except windshield).

If I do go with renntech, I will have the Orland Park, IL Benz dealership do it as they are authorized by renntech per the renntech website

Very weird to say but install a pedalbox and you will put your tune itch to rest for a long time
No power increase, but the car came alive more so than with a tune at part throttle (ie 95% of the time)
Peter has a sprint booster and may be part of why he has been able to resist the tune itch all this time (:-P)

Thanks for that, but I'm in Rochester in Western NY. Not exactly looking to drive 6 hours to service my car! Thanks again though

Like some have said, there is no way I would modify these cars unless it was with a warranty like renntech. Even if you have a friendly dealer, you better have that in writing. People have short memories if a major claim is filed that requires MB corporate blessing. Plus that friendly dealer guy might not work there anymore or something.
