Interesting. I've had very different experiences. Modulation is easy, cold or hot, and the only time they make noise is at low speeds in the wet.

The price is a big pill to swallow, but I'd absolutely get them again.

2014 E63 AMG S ESTATE
I recently picked up a CPO 2014 wagon in July. All stock with carbon brakes, carbon exterior package, silver deviated stitching with silver seat belts, black wheels, lane departure and 360 camera. I displayed in at The Legends of the Autobahn in Monterey this past August. It's an amazing machine. It does everything you need, and some.

I agree with you... They are the best looking OEM wheel for this platform. I am not a fan of the grey raised center cap but outside of that they're quite decent and very light for their size.
These are my stock wheels so they would remain for winter just with an appropriate dedicated winter/snow/ice tire package or remain garaged through Spring while one of our other vehicles get more use.
