When are you going to replace the engine, transmission, brakes, suspension and interior?
An AMG is much more than just a few body panels.

As long as he doesn't badge it as an AMG/E63, I have no problem with what he is doing.

I'm missing the point? A plain jane E is not an AMG E and never will be. Body mods are nice to make your car look sportier, but don't act like its a replacement for a legitimate super car.

you don't have to say it's an amg to people because they turn their head anyway for a second look because of how it looks. and they don't do that with a standard model

You can put 100k into that car to make it close to a AMG but the bottom line is the vin# says it all! So you can try all you want it will never be a true AMG

I have no problem with what he's doing either. I think the car looks great (it looks a lot like mine). My point is that a few body panels do not an AMG make. There is a lot more to an AMG than just its appearance.
