how about the fact that the e63s weighs about the same as that m6, and has higher drivetrain losses with 4matic+MCT vs the super efficient RWD+DCT m6 and even from a roll which is in favour of the M the e63s still hangs right in there with it almost the entire way. Yes finally at very high speeds the m6 with it's advantages only barely manages to pull away. This actually is sad for the BMW performance and amazing for the AMG lol.

Thanks for showing us how 99% of the time on the streets and on street tires the AMG is as fast if not faster than the comparable M cars, especially when both are stock and especially more so from a dig.

Even with the e63 slight lag, it still beats the m5 wheel spinning RWD from a dig in most cases. You will find more videos of 4matic e63s beating m5 from a dig than the m5 beating it, so there's your AWD advantage.

Yes the awd awd is not the best it CAN be but it's still working effectively enough to beat comparable RWD cars from a dig, it just won't do it as badly as say an RS7, but it doesn't matter because it still gets a good distance on the RWD comparables despite its awd "flaws"

you want to say the e63 jumped against the white m5. It did not even look that way and even if true a tenth shouldn't pull bus lengths on the m5 so clearly it's the AWD being in its favour, along with its huge down low torque advantage which you again seem to forget.

Whats your argument? Even in that video you are speaking of the RWD m5 is a fender ahead until the second gear when the more powerful e63 takes over. Plus thats a second video you are showing me where an m5 driver doesn't use proper launching technique. If your argument is that an awd e63 will beat an rwd m5 without using proper launching techniques then I agree with you.

And its not only about being able to beat someone off the line. I dont know if you've driven an m5 but that instant pull of the line is an awesome feeling. Having that control of torque with your right foot is great thing to have.

proper launching techniques? And your going to tell me launching the e63 without any kind of brake torque as in that video is called proper? Especially with this "lag" brake torque is the only way to minimize that so actually it's a completely fair comparison and it's a comparison, both launching same exact way and showing how both would likely launch on the streets in the real world where neither one has time to dick around with brake torqueing.

And m5 was ahead until second gear? Are you kidding me, the m5 clearly jumped on the gas before and still got killed that's only reason why he got ahead for half a second or less.

Speaking about control, I'd rather be able to get all that power down without swirvig any day in exchange for a half second lag from a stop.

At least the e63s from even 10mph can floor it and use all it's torque just fine without spinning off the road.

Whats your point? AWD beats RWD off the line? Wow Im happy it finally got to you. For an avarage joe like yourself it might be true. But in the world of competitive racing the m5s are putting better 60'ft times, quicker and faster 1/4 mile times, 60-130mph and 1/2 mile times. Come back at me when you beat a single one of these records with your awd.

Anything with RWD and power on the street sucks!!! Plain and simple your just going to spin That's why I gave up on it a long time ago. I test drove back to back an M5 ,GTR, and the e63 on the same day with my wife and on that day without a doubt the e63s power and sound felt the most brutal,it definitely impressed us the most, that why I own one now, The M5 sounded like **** and I have a 15 535 it felt like I was in the same car except the 535 sounds better lol , If I'm going to build anything it's going to be a GTR and that may come in the future but for now my e63 stays stock well maybe an x or h pipe lol

I know my choice of words of calling some of you asshats proved controversial, but y'all ain't helping your case. This is the exact bs I was talking about. You are arguing about some perceived disadvantage to or for M5s and using Internet videos to prove your case. This is utter nonsense. These cars are fast as hell stock, tuned or turboed.

If something isn't to your liking, fix it or shut it, but stop whining, and stop trying to prove your point with Internet videos. A half a second difference in reaction time would be almost a 100 ft difference at the line. Non of these videos provide a scientific or provable fact.
