Airmatic Malfunction Message after lowering

I recently installed a KW HAS kit on my 2014 E63S. The installation went as planned and everything seemed fine. However, on the 3rd day after installation, I started encountering an airmatic malfunction message after driving the car about 5 minutes. Since then, everytime I drive, I get the malfunction message within 5 minutes of driving, or sooner if I hit a large bump (large bumps seem to trigger the malfunction message everytime).

Has anybody else who is lowered encountered this? Any idea what might be the culprit?

Thanks in advance.

Happened to me, but months after the install. Eventually, light would come on immediately upon starting car. Bad strut replaced, which corrected problem.

Started happening again shortly after new strut but this time saw a loose link where new strut was installed. Popped it back in with my hand, problem gone. Check to ensure the links are on at both front sides.

What links at the front are you referring to?

Would take a picture but not in town. Happy to do so in a few days. If you turn the steering wheel all the way to the right and go look at the hardware behind the front right tire, you'll see a link (looks like the rear links but longer).

Thanks. I'll will check the front links to see if I inadvertently knocked one off.

Just to close the loop on this thread, the top of the driver's side front link was not connected to the sensor (I must have inadvertently knocked it off during the install). I re-attached it and it resolved my malfunction issue.
