Mercedes E63 AMG S 4Matik
Fastest E63 4matic W212 in the world
Hi everyone, yesterday at Unlim500+ event (organized by dragtimes.ru) in Minsk,
Belarus, my car (E63 4matic w212 by GAD motors) showed cool numbers: 10.0 and 15.3 for 1/4 and 1/2 respectively.
The weather was hot (+35C), but the car ran very stable! It should be one of the fastest streetable Mercs in the world and for sure the fastest E63 on planet!

Amazing You're so close to 9s!! Actually that car would probably do 9s easily on a prepped 1/4 mile track some other cars run on. Incredible 1/2 mile too. What a machine If these had a better gearbox they would probably be faster. People don't realize the Audis have an incredible gearbox advantage and so do the M5s.
Do you have that alleged Renntech torque limiting remover? I say alleged because some people seem to think it's not real and Renntech is scamming people and making false claims due to the lack of evidence given.

Vs RS7 1:22:37
solo 2:23:00
vs gtr 5:06:20
vs 300c 6:15:20
i guess a interview at 8:12:16

Heh... it's amazing a p100D can come close to this out of the box (speaking of 1/4 mile alone)

His 60ft is still better than 99% of the E63s out there and I'd expect a 1000hp car to be able to run 9s even if my grandmother pushed it through the first 60 feet.

run faster the closer the tank is to empty. Electric car cuts power when overheating due to high speeds. Autobahn vids show it cannot maintain high cruising speeds.
in 10seconds from a standing start vasily has almost hit tesla's top speed!! There is no comparison at all between these two cars.
Tesla is an off the line monster. It would lose even to stock e63 in a roll race from 60mph.

p100d is nowhere near 10.0sec 1/4 mile. At least 1/2s or more slower and that is with full charge. P100d will be full second or more slower with spent battery. Gasoline car will

i would rather have the p100d than spend the cash to reach vasily's capability

My thoughts exactly, kinda sad I know now I'd have to spend the amount of a bran new E63 on my current e63 to run low 10's possible 9's.

I have seriously considered and at some point may end up buying a Tesla. If I do it's going to cost me double what I paid for my E63 which I bought brand new (a year old but brand new). Maybe you're able to get them cheaper in the US?
I also considered a GTR much cheaper to make really really fast but the road noise, rough ride, and interior creaks turned me away. The new 2017 ones are apparently much better for NVH. With any decision on cars or anything else in life there will be trade-offs and we have to decide what is most important.
If getting into the nines is the goal the E63 is not the wise way to do it. I trapped 139.45 on Sunday (DA 4700+, no race gas, pump gas + methanol), trapping faster than most of the bracket racers who were there thay day, and day after tomorrow I plan to take my 3 cousins and 5yr old son on a 4 day trip to the mountains with car seat and all our luggage in the same car, no wind noise, minimal tire noise, excellent on windy roads. If I cut the trip short I could join a nonprepped 1/4 race in Vegreville in the way back and possibly beat everyone there. If some 1000hp porsche beats me, good for him. My cousin who is visiting me from overseas prefers my E63 Mercedes to his dad's Porsche because by virtue of his age he is always relegated to the back seat.
My car has lost to 3rd generation Firebird running mid nines with a parachute at the back. Anyone can say that car is better than mine because it did the quarter mile quicker. I like that I can put my car in rest mode in the winter and have the cabin interior maintain is temperature in 30 below weather when I leave it in the parking lot.
if you want a car to do everything its going to get expensive and will still never be number 1 at everything. With a Tesla on the street you'll probably never lose a race off the light ever. And you can seat up to seven people. And u keep the warranty. There will be other downsides. In the end it's trade-offs and priorities that guide a decision.
